"Trains and Sewing machines"は"子供の遊ぶおもちゃの電車"と"妻の使うミシン"、
肝心のタイトルにもなっている"Hide and Seek"は遊びの「かくれんぼ」に掛けて、
"Hide=明るみにできない関係を隠すこと"と"Seek=幸福を追い求めること"を示唆していると解釈してます。
つまり、隠す人（旦那）求める人（愛人）子供に妻、とサビの中に登場人物がそろっているのではないか、と。
ずいぶんな拡大解釈かもしれません。
"Crop circles in the carpet"は"家具をどけてついた跡"の比喩表現かな。
Crop Circle＝農場の作物がなぎ倒されてできた円形の模様、いわゆる"ミステリーサークル"のこと。
